This 5.8mm emerald is set in sterling silver on a hand cut and textured silver shield. The shield design comes from the armor designs of the 1700s decorated with acanthus garlands which were usually used in architecture. The handmade silver scrollwork piece along the top is a modern version of the asymmetrical acanthus decoration used on shields during this time period.
The chain is an adjustable chain that can sit at any length 22” or less. It is made of solid sterling silver.
